Litmus Tender Management System (LTMS)
Also known as LTMS, Litmus TMS, Litmus, The Litmus Partnership.
Tender management system run by a catering and facilities management consultancy rather than by a buyer. The Litmus Partnership has run managed tender exercises for more than 25 years and has used LTMS since 2006 to advertise and receive bids for the catering, cleaning and facilities contracts it runs on its clients' behalf.

Who uses it
Schools, academies and multi-academy trusts, mainly for catering and cleaning. Litmus says it runs more than 150 regulated tenders a year in education settings.
Getting registered
Register on LTMS to search opportunities and receive tender documents. It is a single shared instance, so one account covers every exercise Litmus runs.
Watch out for
Easy to miss entirely. Catering and cleaning contracts for individual schools and trusts often sit below the threshold that forces publication on the statutory notice boards, so an LTMS opportunity may never appear on Find a Tender. Note the address has no hyphen: litmustms.co.uk. The hyphenated litmus-tms.co.uk does not resolve, which is what we had listed until September 2026.
