Who we are

Tender Radar is operated by Professor AI Holdings. We are the data controller for information you provide when using this service. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at admin@theprofessor.info.

What we collect and why

• Account information: your name and email address, used to create and manage your account and to send your daily digest emails.
• Organisational profile: the keywords, CPV codes, and business details you provide so we can configure your procurement radar. This is stored securely on our servers.
• Billing information: payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers. We retain billing history (plan type, payment dates) to administer your subscription.
• Usage data: we log when digests are sent and links are clicked, to help us improve the service and report on your match activity.

Our lawful basis

We process your data under Article 6(1)(b) of UK GDPR (performance of a contract) for account and service delivery, and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests) for service improvement and security logging.

How long we keep your data

We keep your account and organisational profile data for as long as you have an active account. After account closure, we retain data for up to 12 months for audit and legal compliance purposes, then delete it. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by HMRC.

Data source attribution

Procurement data is sourced from Find a Tender, Contracts Finder, and Public Contracts Scotland under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the data we hold about you; request correction or deletion; object to processing; and request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email admin@theprofessor.info. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Third parties

We use Stripe for payment processing and DigitalOcean for infrastructure hosting. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to deliver the service or comply with legal obligations.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie (tr_session) to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

We will notify you by email if we make material changes to this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
