What Tussell is
Tussell is a UK company that sells market intelligence on public sector procurement. It collects tender notices, contract awards, framework call-offs and published spending data from across UK government, the NHS and other public bodies, then cleans and links it so it can be searched and analysed in one place.
It is a paid service, not an official portal: public bodies still publish their notices on government sites such as Find a Tender and Contracts Finder, and Tussell gathers and adds to that information.
What the platform includes
Tussell offers tender alerts drawn from over 600 procurement portals, with filters for keywords, CPV codes and target buyers. It shows contracts due for renewal in the next 6, 12 or 24 months, and early buying signals that its AI tools find in council and NHS documents and its staff then check.
It also covers spend data, framework usage, competitor and buyer profiles, and a database of over 80,000 public sector decision-maker contacts. Subscribers can add API access to feed the data into their own systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
Plans and pricing
Tussell sells three annual tiers, Starter, Plus and Pro, which differ mainly in contact credits, Freedom of Information request allowances, support, and whether the API and analyst service are included. Prices are not published: you book a demo or ask for a quote.
Some research is free, including sector reports, a monthly AI procurement tracker, a blog and webinars.
Who it suits
Tussell's published customer list is mostly medium and large suppliers in technology, consulting, facilities management, construction and recruitment, plus some public bodies. It suits teams that want market analysis, competitor research and pipeline planning alongside tender alerts.
The government's own portals are free and are where you register and bid, so a small business can start there at no cost and consider a paid intelligence service when it needs broader analysis.
